On June 1, 2011, couples were officially allowed to enter into civil partnerships, which are between two people of the same gender. Because civil unions are still a fairly new idea in the United States, many people have questions about them. Here are some answers to those questions from Equality Illinois (EQIL), which is an organization trying to get more equality to these same sex couples: How does a couple enter and exit a civil union?  Civil unions are pretty much the same as marriages. The couple must get a license from the city clerk, exchange vows in front of witnesses and …

Recently, the Huffington Post released a story about couples getting divorced. A new study conducted found that the number one concern for couples getting divorced is the cost. Of the respondents without children, 58 percent of them agreed that cost was their number one concern, along with 53 percent of those couples with children. According to a recent report by the Huffington Post, Dwayne Wade's six-year divorce saga has finally ended in a settlement. Wade married his high school sweetheart, Siohvaughn Funches, in 2002 and Wade initially filed for divorce in 2007. Some people would say that Funches did everything that she could do to make Wade look bad, and most of her efforts backfired. At one point, she made allegations that she was homeless even though Wade had been providing her with over $25,000.00 in income on a monthly basis. On top of that, he has been paying the mortgage for the home that they used to …
